BranCourt Sports started from the ground up by creating what has become renowned as 'the best playing surface in rural Jamaica' at Clarendon Park. This surface surrounded by a 5ft perimeter fence and a 10ft security fence, provides one of the most secure facilities in rural Jamaica today. Special thanks and appreciation are expressed here for the very kind support provided by Mr. Stephen Jones of Atlanta, Georgia in erecting the security and perimeter fences. These fences are a real benefit to all. The BranCourt Mini Stadium is far from the JFF's minimum standards for hosting NPL games. Nonetheless, the facility has hosted among others: over 110 DaCosta Cup games between 2000 and 2005 including semifinals and finals (Ben Francis 2002, 2004 and Olivier Shield 2004); opening and closing ceremonies for major league tournaments, the Clarendon Business House 6-A-Side competition as well as 'The John Barnes Respect Cup' competition which was co-hosted with Mr. Al Hamilton, founder of the Commonwealth Sports Awards. We have only just begun, development is long term, but with your continued support, the vision will be realized. (more about us.. a football team) |
